For goodness sake please stop spreading these false tales. It is fixed for 2 years and Lloyds have not repeat not changed this. No doubt you did not explain yourself fully when you phoned Lloyds and are now turning this into a mini drama. Please leave this to the tv.
Yours very annoyed.
Please do not write offence threads on here. For your information, I will write to the bank directly (as mentioned above) and for your information, i telephoned the customer service line with the following questions:
1) what is the current interest rate of my two year monthly saver?
2) when did the rate go down?
3) why has the rate gone down?
If i have been presented with wrong information from clear questions then thats one thing, but again, this site is not for insults, but to support one another in financial matters. i only reported back what I was told.
Please use some sensativity next time, thanksTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -

If you behave like an idiot you must expect to be treated as such. I suggest you go away write your letter and grow up.0 -
Lee, people have advised you that you've been given incorrect info, misunderstood what you've been told/read and have given you the FACTS, yet you still dispute it.
I think perhaps you are being over sensitive.
When you opened your account you would have been given a copy of the T&C's. I suggest you read, digest, and try to understand them.0 -
i dont wish to continue with this thread, goodbyeTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0

Yes, I do feel very annoyed sometimes reading posts here. Some people just write they believe without giving it a thought. (or what they heard!)
After reading the posts here, I spent half an hour to dig out my papers to prove myself is right. What a waste of time on a Sat night!0 -

You summed it up very nicely because I started to doubt myself and did the very same thing. Then when you have the evidence the OP still does not believe you.0 -
Lee_Dunford wrote: »i dont wish to continue with this thread, goodbyeAfter reading this thread I checked my own two year monthly saver with Lloyds. I curently have saved for 14 months now, so I am in my second year. I telephoned customer servicesok, perhapos instead of "second guessing" we should get to the bottom of this fom the bank.
Whilst I believe the less than pleasant posters of this thread are correct, we should never believe posts from other posters but check T&C's ourselves and get confirmation from the bank if still not 100% happy. If they choose to get angry and unpleasant about it, that's their problem not yours.0 -

A sensible thing to do.
Yes.
