Malicious fraud reports

  • To be blunt there is pretty much nothing you can do.

Your actions have already been done they can’t be wiped and re-done.

They have reported you, your going to have to go through the motions and if there’s nothing to hide you’ll be fine.

In honesty, you sound like the neighbours from hell.

We have had this kind of thing, fires being lit in gardens and it's awful. You can't enjoy your own garden, you have to go n, shut your windows even in extreme heat.

I'm also asthmatic, and I've come close to dying due to severe attacks brought on by other peoples complete inconsideration and selfish desire to burn things, even though you don't need to do this.

I'm guessing you've made enemies in the neighbourhood who want to see you out by any means. You can't undo what you've done, but you could try to be a nicer person and neighbour and try to rebuild bridges.

I also don't understand why being excited by having a new home automatically meant to you to start frequent fires and ruin everybody elses lives.

Disconnect the benefit fraud from other issues. It is a process and you go through it.

The way to resolve burning which is what you suspect is the issue, would be a report to the Environmental Health. The complainer decided to go a different and inappropriate route which is to your advantage.

By all means vent, but it won't change the need to go through the process. All it is, is a process.
Unlike some here, I am not omniscient. If I am wrong correct me. I won't take offence.

Well its agood job that threats of violence and other forms of harassment are ok as long as a fire isnt burning, right? ( and yes I am being confrontational in this part )

By you doing that, you endangered the person's child's life, so while I don't threats advocate violence, I see where it came from TBH.

Also, I do think there may not be complete truth in your posts. Three fires a week is not having a fire once in a while, I've lived here five years and we've had zero fires.

Also, I doubt all of the neighbours were having daily, even weekly fires, I just can't see it. I doubt anyone else around you was having three fires a week, so I call BS there.

You've clearly put their backs up and they want you out in any way they can. Or it's not them and it's someone else.
  • And as I was saying...

If you choose to perceive me as confrontational then that's up to you, I dont see how you can get that assumption from text on a screen.

Theres no body language to look at, nor a tone of voice to hear which would tell you if I am or not.

But I can however 100% tell you I am not being confrontational at all, I just want advice on the now.. not judgement for past mistakes, you make those, right?

Sadly there are people on here who will be judgemental luckily there are many who aren't and as a new member people should go easy on you, don't let some of the comments put you off mse its a valuable source of advice and money saving ideas :money:

That's my take on it as well. There is way, way too much justification and 'I'm a good guy'.

OP I don't agree with you re benefit reporting. Anonymity is absolutely essential to encourage people to report benefit cheats. If you are doing nothing wrong you have nothing to worry about it.

I think posters have answered honestly, based on what the OP has said.
You may see that as being judgemental.
Although it's true that the OP is a newbie, I don't see why posters who disagree with a newbie shouldn't comment honestly on what has been posted - on every thread, not just this one.
Being a newbie doesn't automatically mean you get everyone agreeing with you regardless of what you say.
