Okay coming back to this thread to clarify another puzzled question is what is the difference between Executor and Administrator?
Secondly how does the executor or administrator prove the will in the probate stage? What's the best legal way to prove or probate a will? Signatures on the will?0 -
Have you researched this at all? Try GOV.UK for example“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Land Registry. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -

An Executor is appointed by the Will. An Administrator is appointed if there is no Will (person dies intestate).
The probate registry will declare the will proved, taking into account the signatures on the will and any other information.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
Okay doing the will application online. Kinda complicated forms for a somewhat free basic will. They are stuck on the form section 'Further provisions distribution of the residue'
Then there's another section after that called 'Final distribution'.
What does that mean?0 -
See a solicitor - it will be cheap at twice the price they will charge!0

Seriously, see a solicitor - it is pretty clear none of you know what you are doing and the chance of a phenomenal c**k-up is looking pretty high.
For the sake of a couple of hundred quid you could be setting yourself up for a world of pain when dealing with their wills.0 -

I was told earlier in the thread that the free ones are at least SRA registered so how can it c**k up when it's SRA Registered?0 -
