If I was the OP I would use that piece in my WS as it refers to the place where the parking incident occurred and the parking company involved. I have used similar in my WS.
The PPC's make out that we are all liars and chancers and you have to fight back.

This won’t go anywhere near a court. Smart Parking may huff and puff, but I’ve never seen a single one of their cases get to court. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If it did go to court I think that the defendant would have to be extremely unlucky to lose a well prepared case in this instance.

Hi Folks, the latest is that I received a letter from DRP "NOTICE OF INTENDED COURT ACTION" stating that if I didn't make payment by 14th May (my birthday :rotfl:)that they would advse Smart Parking to take it to court. I take it I'm now likely to receive a "letter before court?" Oh and I contacted my MP Amanda Millington - for all the good it did me!
Cheers

No, you shouldn't take that as read. In fact a LBC from Smart is as likely as a visit from the tooth fairy.I take it I'm now likely to receive a "letter before court?
I thought you would know this from reading the endless threads about Smart Parking where we have almost never seen a LBC issued.
You are reading other Smart threads ....... aren't you? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

How much does parking cost at Fistral beach? The argument here is that payment was made & that if £2.40 wasn’t enough then it shouldn’t have been accepted. If it was £1.50 for one hour then the machine should not have retained the extra 90p.0
