HIya i had to put down a deposit when i bought the static and when i sold my house and moved in the static we bought decking to go around to give us more space ! i would like them to take the static of me and cancel the agreement and also compensate me for the deposit and decking if that was possible.
    Thank You
I think that given the sums involved, and what (forgive me) looks like an incomplete understanding of what you signed for, you need to seek legal advice.

I can't see any reason why you'd be compensated for discretionary expenditure after the initial purchase, but get legal advice.

As above you need to seek legal advice but your since seperation is not relevent to the time you were sold the van at.
What did it say on the paperwork you signed with regards to salary? as that would be the bit they had gone off
Surely you must have know if the caravan was affordable or not.
In the event you do you win I doubt you could claim for the decking too.

I would be quite happy to be honest for them to take it of my hands and cancel the agreement ! and walk away with nothing .
The salesman in question handed himself into the police several months ago ! he was selling other peoples vans
( the owners didn't know he was selling there vans ) with the promise of large profits to the people he was selling to and selling ground rent with official paperwork at reduced rates ( several years at a time  ) and taking the money among lots of other things ! this is an ongoing case

I am sure you would be quite happy with walking away and everything cancelled as that suits you. But as with everything it is not that simple.

The salesman selling other people vans again is not relevant. Unless you are saying the van you brought had been fraudulent sold then that is a separate issue.

You say he wrote down you earned £75,000 a year when you did not. But you also said that was not on the document you signed so what document was it on and what did the document you signed say?

  • We bought a caravan two weeks ago from Park Dean resorts in Morecambe and we were told it was an eight birth caravan we were unable to have a look around or touch anything due to the owners are some still being in the caravan so were unable to check everywhere on going into the caravan after signup we noticed there was no bed underneath the lounge sofa wish I was supposed to be which means we only have enough room for six people which is a six berth caravan what can I do

Best to start your own thread, and break it up into sentences because it's tricky to read like that and you might deter some people from helping.

Upshot is that if you purchased an 8 berth caravan and they've supplied a 6 berth caravan, they've breached the contract and you should cancel it.

Was it stated there was a pull out bed?
As in some cases the extra 2 berths are on the sofa.
