Suzuki turned down my warranty claim

I’ve never had a check strap break in 25 years . I didn’t push it back far enough, the wind didn’t blow it wide open. If it was my fault I would fix it myself, I’ve had enough of the car,Suzuki GB and going to the dealer now 10 times since Christmas (the first Vitara was picked up a few days before Christmas then rejected 25 days later).0

The door is bent because it was opened too far. Irrespective of the check strap being there or not.
Claim on your insurance as accidental damage. It's what it is for.0 -

Last time it worked when I was at work where we have a electric barrier , so the window goes down to use my key fob. The same afternoon it went for its 2 month free check up at the dealer
The following day was a Saturday where it rained all day, I came out of my house opened the door quickly (but not fully open cause I wanted it shut ASAP) jumped in the closed the door. Sunday night I put the car away in the garage, I have to turn in the door mirror, that’s when I opened the door window and it wouldn’t open.0 -

This is all highly peculiar.
Highly.
Peculiar.
You said, in your original post on Saturday the 28th of April 2019 at 3.53pm, did you not?The door is bent cause the car check strap failed !!
This implies to my mind, and those of others, impartial to this case that the failure of the car strep led to the door travelling too far back on its hinges and bending and you were aware of this sequence of events.
And yet now, we hear accounts of barriers, and of rainy days, and of doors only ever partially opened.
Yet still there is bending and if bending has been done there is a bender. To which I ask, what is your relationship with the check strap?0 -
How did the check strap snap in the first place ? Maybe it was poor quality , maybe it was small break and gradually got bigger.
Do you work for Suzuki GB?
Do you like saying stupid stuff ?
are you taking the mick lol ?0 -

For the door to bend the strap has broken and it's opened more than intended (or closed with an obstruction in place). As the owner/driver you must be aware when this has happened.
You can try and blame Suzuki all you like but without proof things work on the balance of probabilities and currently your story of 'knowing nothing' doesn't stack up.
Good luck in your quest0 -
Apologies if this isn't the right place, what were the electrical problems that caused you to return the original car? I ordered a vitara yesterday and now I'm worried I've made a mistake0
