    Morning!
    Done my morning account checks and notice I had £7.99 pending to Amazon prime - I’d taken out the free trial as needed quick postage on a couple of things. Cancelled prime this morning and have had notification that they will be refunding the £7.99 :)

    Had a few small eBay sales yesterday that have added up to £23 - I’ve paid this straight off the very account.

    Realised that approximately £400 on cc2 will be occurring interest from next month. No BT offers currently on cc1. I do have a dormant card that I could transfer onto for 3% charge - just toying with the idea at the moment. May give Cc2 a call today and get a breakdown of the balance and dates......

    A rare day to myself today. Typical I’m not feeling on top form though! My suspected bad hayfever seems to in fact be a heavy cold. Feeling pretty grotty after another nights pants sleep :mad: Had got plans to sort garden and take advantage of my leisure centre pass, however I think now I’ll spend a lot of the day ebay listing in the hope of a few more sales.

    Thought it’d be useful for my reference to summarise outstanding debt as it stood prior to this payday, as I haven’t done this in months and things have yo-yo’d somewhat. It’s time to take my head out the sand and tackle it head on.......

    Cc1 = £5977.33
    Cc2 = £3255.78
    OD= £650
    Very = £629.43
    Next = £57.62

    Total = £10570.16

    I found out I’m due some vouchers from work for an award I’ve won, so may choose next vouchers and clear the account, failing that I’ll pop them aside for DS birthday / Christmas.

    Need to kick on with this debt busting - do not want to end the year in the same position that I started :mad::mad::mad:

    Thanks jwil :)

    Phoned cc2 and it works out that only £55.56 will be interest chargeable, with a further £500 at the end of October. Would love to get as much cleared without paying to BT. Will definitely need to BT at the end of Jan as they’ll be £1200 that I’ll be paying interest on. Will get these dates in my diary and look for offers nearer the time...... For the short term any extra will be chucked at Cc2 rather than very as Very is covered by budgeted payments.

    Spent most the morning eBaying and will do some more once DS is in bed as OH is going out later. Will pop into town tomorrow and see if we can switch OH mobile onto sim only as his contract has now ended :D

    Morning - can’t believe it’s monday already!

    Busy weekend. Couldn’t get OH phone sorted but on a positive it does look like £15 a month will give him what he needs. Can also switch mine over at the end of November providing I don’t break my phone between now and then!

    A couple of small eBay sales over the weekend. Will leave this to build up in paypal account for a couple of weeks and then hopefully pay it of Cc2 if nothing unexpected crops up.

    Planning a low spend week. Both DS and myself are booked it at hairdressers and we’re going to a friends on my other day off so not planning any major spends.

    Plan for the day....
    1. Phone vets to pay bill (still not done this!!!)
    2. Sort hay money and give to farmer
    3. Post eBay and collect parcel from po
    4. eBay x 5

    Good morning!
    Non working day for me today, so pretty much all is good!

    I thought I’d been ages since I last posted - turns out I’d only missed yesterday. Must be a good sign that the diary is becoming a bit of a habit for me, which can only be a good thing if it’s holding me accountable.

    Was up really early yesterday so popped out for an early morning 5k. Felt good to have ticked it off the list so early in the day and also hitting 10k steps before 8:30 (combination of run, dog walk and sorting ponies). I usually struggle to hit my steps on my working days. It was also first weigh in night last night. Was a little disappointed to have only lost 2.5lb in my first week as I had been fairly good but it’s *that* week (ladies you know what I mean :rotfl:) so I am feeling a bit bloated and bleurgh. Nevermind, hopefully will see a decent loss next week providing I stay on track.

    Had a snoop around the DF challenges board on my lunch yesterday. The 1 debt vs 100 days really took my fancy. I figured I could use this to tackle the £500 that needs paying off Cc2 before the end of October. Granted, it’s only 87 days (as of yesterday!) until it starts occurring interest but it’s near enough. I’ve decided to split any eBay sales between building a emergency fund and making daily payments to clear cc2. I’ve calculated that taking out the budgeted payments between now and the end of Oct leaves me with approx £4.30 a day to find. Sounds doable right?

    So, a few eBay sales over the last two days have been split as follows......
    Day 1 of 87 = £6
    Day 2 of 87 = £5

    Emergency fund = £25 / £500

    Hairdressers in a couple of hours for myself and DS, so better spring into action. I’ve got ponies to feed and dogs to walk.
    Have a great day x

    Morning!
    Nothing ground breaking to repot in the last 24 hours! Hairdressers for DS and myself yesterday (budgeted for), home for lunch and then onto the park. Cost me the grand total of £3 for parking and an ice cream for DS - I’ll take that as a win! Also go a £2 coin in my change that’ll go straight over to the Christmas fund

    Another low spend day today - play date this morning. Will probably pick some cakes up to take but will be cheap and cheerful.

    Went back to running club last night for the first time in an age. Really enjoyed it and clocked up a few more miles.

    Ashamed to say the house has been neglected (again) this week. Whilst exercise has been good (3 x runs plus 1 x gym in the last 7 days) housework has gone downhill. Desperately need to get the balance between the two.

    Right on that note I’m off to do a quick 20 mins tidy whilst DS is transfixed with CBeebies!

    Morning! Had a pants night sleep and have woken up just as tired as when I went to bed! Rain in the early hours woke me up, closely followed by DS - who wouldn’t settle so I ended up in with him for a couple of hours.

    Lowish spend day yesterday - £8 ish spent in local supermarket on cakes for play date, washing up liquid, fresh bits for lunch today. Low, but could do better.

    Another £5 eBay sale so have sent this straight to Cc2 as part of my 100 day challenge. So, day 3/100 = total £16/£500

    Work today, so I’m planning a NSD, fingers crossed.

    Hoping for a quiet weekend too. House needs TLC, so hopefully will catch a couple of hours to sort whilst OH takes DS food shopping with him. Speaking of which there’s also menu planning and food shopping to be done.

    Right better spring into action.....

    Have a great day x

    It’s been a long old day and I’m absolutely shattered! NSD went out the window as I needed mailing bags to post eBay sales in. There’s always tomorrow......

    eBay wise I’ve made another tenner so day 4 totals are as follows:
    EF = £30/£500
    Cc= £21/£500

    Payment a day (PAD) = 4/4

    I’m off to bed now in the hope I wake up refreshed and productive! Night night!

    Thanks savingholmes - baby steps on all fronts but I’m hoping they’ll add up soon :)

    Reasonably low spend weekend (for us!) £10 on soft play and ornament at the attached garden centre and £75 on food shopping (£10 down on our average :T).

    Managed to chuck some veg that was otherwise destined for the bin into the slow cooker and knock up a Bolognese. I’ve cooked up and frozen a load of pasta with it too - it’s made 4 quick, SW friendly meals that I can just chuck in the microwave for 5 minutes. Perfect for SW or running nights where I won’t be home until later.

    Went for a 7.5 mile run yesterday. I have a half marathon booked for end of sept and would love a pb so really need to knuckle down and put the work in.

    £5.50 payment to CC2 over the weekend. This was Saturday so my PAD streak has ended as nothing paid yesterday, but I’m still on course with the 100 day challenge. Just being mindful as the budget for the next two weeks until payday is very tight.

    Right best get moving - busy day at work ahead.....
