Harvester ‘Unlimited’ Breakfast

Hi all, just wanted to get your opinion on something that has annoyed me recently and my attempts to complain directly to Harvester have been fobbed off.
Now I know it’s not fine dining but I quite enjoyed the breakfast deal at Harvester, it was £8.99 to go all in and have an unlimited breakfast that you build yourself when you order and then drinks and the usual toast etc. I liked this deal because I really like having eggs for breakfast and always ordered 4 poached eggs and then a few other bits (I don’t eat piles of meat at breakfast, maybe 1 sausage!)
They have recently changed the menu and increased the price to £9.49 and when I tried to order my ‘usual’ 4 poached eggs I was told that the maximum is 3 eggs. I obviously ordered 3 but left feeling a little bit stiffed as a maximum of 3 seems like a very low number for a deal that’s advertised as being unlimited.
I tweeted them and they signposted me to a form, I filled in the form but no reply over a week later so tweeted them again and finally got a response.
They advised the menu had changed and there are now limits on what can be ordered (5 bacon, 4 sausages etc) but if you wanted to order another one you’re more than welcome to order another ‘batch’ for £9.49!
I just wondered if it was right for them to be advertising an unlimited deal with such low limits?? Any thoughts?!

unlimited as per number of meals sold per day0

Depends upon the terms and conditions .
Unlimited has not meant without limits for years for many services .
Complaints would be the Advertising Authority .0 -
I think it's perfectly fine. Good idea, for profits and the health of their customers. I expect these new restrictions only came in because too many people took the old menu as a challenge rather than an invitation.0

Four eggs even if not much meat doesn't sound overwhelmingly good for you. Perhaps the limit is an alternative to a greed tax. Unlimited deals on broadband have also been subject to a fair use limit. Perhaps 3 eggs is the fair use limit?
I wait for the thread from someone complaining that "unlimited refills of soft drinks" was denied when they brought a bucket to the restaurant!0 -

Not sure what company profits and health have to do consumer rights?
I don't see how something unlimited having a limit of 3 isn't misleading. It isn't unlimited and the only reason for using the term is to convince you that you can have as much as you want.
"Fair use" often applies to these kind of things but 4 eggs is hardly excessive.
Website only seems to say
Unlimited and continental breakfasts do not include drinks. Our young guest menu is available for children aged 10 and under. Photography is for illustration purposes only
Post above is correct, complain to the ASA if so inclined. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -

So you can order 3 eggs, 5 bacon and 4 sausages, but you can't order 4 eggs. What an utterly stupid idea.0
