OK so next question is, you said a few years ago I rented a flat - exactly how many years ago was that?
Are there any defaults on your files? Or anything relating to debt collectors?I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. And as someone else has asked, whose name or names was the bill in.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Hi all,
It was more than 4 years ago when I moved out. There isn't anything on my file at all in terms of defaults etc.
The account was in my name and the two other flatmates.0 -

Given that you aren't being time specific, my guess is then that it has probably fallen off your files due to the timeframe so there is nothing further for you to do.I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. Give it another year or so without recognising the debt and it will be statute barred, so why recognise it, if indeed it still exists? I still say keep a low profile and assume it's all sorted.(Although I could be wrong, I often am.)0

Is it showing under your closed accounts on your files?0

There's nothing showing on my closed accounts either.0
