What washing detergent do you use?

I use bold 2 in 1 or Asdas own tablets with lavender as I dont like clogging my machine up with fabric softener. I really like the smell of Ariel but my DH is allergic to it and comes out in a big red lumpy rash.I also use only 1 tablet each time and as long as you dont overload the machine it comes out fine!Saves loads of money too!Do what you love :happyhear0

I use the very large box of ASDA Lavender and Cottonflower Bio with added Conditioner. The fragrance is quite nice but if it's something that I want to be softer (knitteds, nightwear or grandchildren's stuff when they stay over), then I also use ASDA Jasmine and Ylang-ylang conditioner as well.
I used to use the ASDA Smartprice Bio and found that worked great for me but I've heard some people complain that it has caused problems for eczema/psoriasis sufferers - have to say though that I did still get things clean.0 -
Personally I have tried them all and find them much of muchness. ATM I am using Asda smartprice washing powder.Doesnt smell strong but fresh, and I also dont tend to use fab. cond. I find it leaves my clothes feeling "slimy"
People get conditioned on clothes smelling nice and being soft dont fall for the hype!:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
I tend to use Tescos own yellow, 1 tablet and an Eco ball - It seems to work fine for me. I also use fabric softener in most things but at the moment this is Lidls own and doing a fine job.
I use the really nice ones Ariel, Persil etc when my Ma & Pa have been to Makro and taken pity on my money saving ways :rotfl:Aiming to be Debt free by October 20130 -
DS, DD and I all have very sensitive skin (eczema sufferers) so I stick to Persil non-bio and Lenor fc. To save money I have started using less powder and adding some soda crystals instead. Much cheaper and washing is still clean."Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

I use tesco's non-bio powder (big blue box) as I'd used Persil non-bio since DS was born (eczema in family) but one day they'd run out as they had an offer on so bought own brand and have never looked back! saved a fortune too. I use tescos fabric softner with a baby on it and it's good too. I don't like it when someone else washes something for me and the perfumed smell is really strong, both of these just leave clothes smelling fresh but not overperfumed.Mortgage OP 2025 £6750/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

can't say i fall for the hype, washing powder is all washing powder, just with different smells added :P
i get the cheapest non bio tabs i can find, and use half the recommended amount (usually one tab instead of 2). can't tell the difference.0 -
I dont use fabric conditoner and never have. I use Arial non-bio. Its the only one i can use as the others all make my skin bad0

Daz and purple lenor for everything bar towels and my knickers - for those I use non-bio.:wave:0

I just hate the smell of ariel and the only one I liked was marks and spencers purple liquid for colours and the green for whites but cannot get it so use Tescos own colour purple coloured liquid and smells much nicer than ariel.
Never use conditioner at allSaving in my terramundi pot £2, £1 and 50p just for me! :j0
