I read, on this forum, that, on the 19th of January, 2008 - niether the phone lines, nor website, of jbw enforcements were working.
Do you have any idea if they have, hopefully, ceased trading?

I've just circulated the above to many friends and colleagues. Complaints will be made and forwarded by all of us immeadiatley after broadcast tonight.

Youv'e really inspired me and I can see quite a few complaints winging their way just after transmission.:rolleyes:

Thats true, if u have a car keep it parked round the corner away from the house at all times, because they will watch to catch u out, and the bailiffs that came to my house even asked neighbours if we had a car! anything in the house that was paid for by sum1 else you should keep reciepts of otherwise they will take it untill you can prove otherwise, and ALWAYS keeps those doors and windows locked! when i have tried to come to an agreement with them, i will call the number on the paper posted through my door, and will meet them at their car. I know that sum ppl believe this is a situation that could have been avoided, but thats real life for ya, sumtimes things happen and we just gotta deal with it, alot of these bills go straight to bailiff without warning. And to be honest if bailiffs were to treat me right instead of using bullying tactics then i may be more inclined to open the door and come to an agreement.

First, PLEASE do NOT open the door to them. If they get into the house with your consent once, they can break in any time in the future and take the goods that they have listed on the walking possession order. They also charge you a hefty fee for the walking possession order, which is added to your debt.

And yes, they can put a walking possession order on your car if they spot it.

What a poor ad for the Police the last prog was, showing them seizing a vehicle for no insurance, when in fact they had insurance, it also showed a women PC "Frisking" a Male suspect-surely this is not allowed-would a Male officer be allowed to "Frisk" a female-i think not.
Also it showed a Police operation stopping vehicles, how many Police/PCOs are needed for this simple task? apparently about 20 By the looks of it-most of them standing around looking Bored.
The Programme also makes it look as if something is being done about Illeagle vehicles-But number recognisition is only as good as the databse-if the car is not registered its useless.
Arrticle in the "Mail" recently "A record numbe of untaxed cars are now on the road, in the case of Motorcycles nearly half are not taxed!
Dont forget your numberplate is like a "Giant Fingerprint!" Oh yeah!

As you may be aware jbw enforcement also lost their contract with westminister. Guess who got it ?
