                    Hello all,
New to forum and have read the FAQ’s and just wanted to run off what I’ve done/going to do to make sure I’ve got it all down correctly. Firstly I’ll start with my issue.
Parking signed ‘parked on any access road or the vehicle causes obstruction or inconvenience to other persons or blocks other vehicles.’ The area is a large opening and does not block any access. Upon returning, I can only assume the entire area is classed as ‘access’, The driver found a yellow notice on the windscreen. Many other motorists were caught out by this and all had read the notice and interpreted it the same way. There are no road marks and therefor The driver feels it’s not clearly signed as a no parking area.
So, if I have read the info correctly I am to:
1) wait three weeks for the notice of keeper to come through the door.
2) write to my local MP to complain
3) complete the template letter for IPC company (this company is District Enforcement)
4) do nothing unless I get the lbcca or Court correspondence
Do I add more details such as images of where my car was parked at the template letter stage? Anything else I’ve missed?
Thanks in advance

First, edit your post to remove information about who did what. Only ever refer to The Driver and The Keeper, who are two different people.
DO THIS BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE!I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Yes. (There is only one template letter for both BPA and IPC members)

Complain to the landowner but otherwise, and get your own pics of the site and signage asap.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

If you have inadvertently used your real name as your forum name then you need to get MSE to change it to something anonymous (and delete your posts elsewhere here!)

Is the park Council owned? This is important for you to check & be sure.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks. The edit option is greyed out and won’t let me edit. Why?
This is not my real name and it is owned by the council.0 -
Because you are using a phone - get off the phone or your chances are low of even reading half the stuff we want you to see.
The fact it is Council land gives you a 'no keeper liability' defence.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ok thanks didn't know that. Amended my opening and taken advice on board.
So with the no keeper liability that comes later after the appeal email?0 -

Your initial post needs more editing. For example,
The Driver found a yellow notice on The windscreen …
The Driver and 7 others …
and so on.
The "no keeper liability" could be mentioned by The Keeper by adding a one liner to the initial appeal, provided you have proof that this is council owned land.
It will be ignored but mentioning it now may help if this gets to court.
If that is the case, then complaints should also be made to the council. Also check with the planning department to see if planning permission for cameras and advertising consent for signs has been approved. Not having the latter is a criminal offence.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

My initial checks show that the council gave the tender in 2014 for this company and that the logo for the council is on the sign.
I will look into the additional info you’ve supplied. Thanks0 -
Read Henry Hippo's DE thread on pepipoo, that was similar and the defence was there.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
