  • Just realised why you get rubbish nectar vouchers sometimes compared to others Little Miss Money:

It's because you are too good at actually using them, like me!

So you get better vouchers from each shop, the longer that you have stayed away (or not used your nectar card in the last quarter)

    :-)

I get rubbish offers from Nectar too (well, apart from this Debenhams one ;)) even though I hardly ever use the card these days.
  • Young Gordon, why don't you sign your wife / rabbit / imaginary friend up for a new nectar card at your address? Maybe they will have more luck on the voucher front next quarter as they might not get around to using their nectar card much ;) Anyone can use anyone elses nectar vouchers. Not that I do this :A;)
    :p Proud to be a MoneySaver! :p
  • Maybe the people who didn't get this voucher have redeemed / collected points in debenhams before? So they don't need to encourage them to do it? I have never used my nectar card in debenhams. Just a guess.

You're probably right - I hardly ever shop at Debenhams, in fact the last time I did it was because I had another Nectar voucher :rotfl:

It does say on it that it takes up to 28 days for the points to be added. ;)

That's the thing I hate about Nectar though, as I've lost points that way before. At least with Tesco and Boots, you see them added straight away. :T

I had problems with the voucher and a stroppy SA. The voucher wouldn't scan and the SA said I needed to spend £250 to get the points. Aargh!

That's why I always make a note when I used the deal so I know when the points should be added by the latest. I wait another week and then send them a stroppy email. I usually have to do this for every bonus points offer they have, but they do add them after being reminded.
