For crying out loud just stop communicating with these people.

They are spamming my email daily now though. It's annoying. I am sending them a curt response simply that I have already said all I want to and I have nothing else to discuss at this time and that I am waiting for the landlord's details.

Ok, well too late I sent that one now before I saw those responses :P. I will refrain from more now.

Well based on the answers to your previous questions- what line of action should I take? you said it is different depending on my goal last time and now I answered your questions above you are saying ignoring is the best way still? in order to keep a periodic and not pay admin fee

You want to move to a periodic tenancy, and to avoid paying fees.

The agent wants you to move to a fixed term and to pay fees.

You have exchanged countless emails between you without any compromise or agreement to resolve this impasse.

Under the Housing Act, you will achieve your aim automatically - indeed as I understand it you already have a periodic tenancy.

So further communication seems pointless. It will simply cause you stress, and continue a cycle of claim/request and counter-claim/counter-request..... to what end?

    Just stop.

Hey guys, to update it has now been 22 days and they had not responded since my last message which I mentioned before and they still have not given me the landlord's details.

That is fine by me if they aren't bothering me, since I only needed the LL details because they were hassling me, but they have also committed an offense haven't they now?

I have no wish to engage with them again but can I call upon this in the future if need be? or will they just deny it, your word against theirs thing?

I am happy to let sleeping dogs lie now but can I call on that again in future if I need to if they start trying to bully again for one reason or another down the line? I have all the email correspondences saved so will that suffice?

Nothing to answer really. Ye you can say " you have broken the law on this ",

But it's a difficult one to enforce anyway.

Just treat them like you would any other bothersome caller

They have sent me the landlord's address finally but now they are still trying to get me on a contract and to increase but saying they will waive the renewal fee. I don't get their motivation for wanting me to do that? if they are not getting a fee. Oh I see or is it because they still get the fee from the LL right? So they are just passing the buck?

We have had our senior management team review the situation you are currently experiencing with the renewal and the reasons against it.

Please be advised that our team are happy to waiver the renewal fee and to put the rent to £495.

The team have also reviewed other properties in the building that we let and can confirm that we are achieving rents between £500-£550.

If you are in agreement with the above then we can amend this on our system and send the new agreement out to yourself.

    Kind Regards
