  • I didn't have a prop for ages and it used to wind my mum up until she bought me one. I wish I had the confidence then to say that I didn't like that colour.
    Have a lovely weekend x

  • Work was crazy again last week, but the days flew by. I collected the DGC from school on Friday and they drew pictures for great gran and grandad , duly delivered by myself on Saturday. I have ordered more stuff for Christmas for my parents this time for each other .
We went to the cemetery on Friday as it's the anniversary of my brother's death today , 27 years ago feels like yesterday.
I have immersed myself in cleaning this weekend, kitchen cupboards cleaned out , windows cleaned , moved every piece of furniture apart from washing machine it was too heavy. Today I have tackled the box of photo albums that I have been carrying round for 11 years , it has taken me the best part of the afternoon but I now have about 600/700 of ones I want to keep. My ex is getting about a 100 mostly of his family with my kids I think he will enjoy looking at them .
I am getting new storage tomorrow to keep the ones I have left in order. I need to go to the tip in the morning. I have a bit more sorting to do tomorrow, then I need to do a big stash of ironing and maybe write some Christmas cards .
I should have been away this weekend so have kept my days leave .
My debt total is now down to around £1700must update my signature .
I could carry on sorting but am shattered.

Well done on sorting the photos, I hate throwing photos away but sometimes you have to cull them and keep the ones that mean the most to you.

That must’ve been hard for you on Friday, the years go by so fast but we don’t forget.

Well done on getting the debt down, won’t be long until it’s gone now.

  • Morning I am up early ready for my day ahead I have a lot I want to achieve today.
Going through the photos yesterday made me realise what a good life I have had , never had to worry about money when I was married big 3 bed semi , holidays abroad , able to work part time for 11 years . However when I look closely I see my face etched with tension , I think I lived on my nerves for the vast majority of time I was married , my ex used to shout at the children all the time and I was the one to pick the pieces up but always made to feel I was in the wrong. I am not saying it was all ex's fault and I sometimes wish we had tried harder, but hindsight is a wonderful thing. It's amazing the thoughts that went through my mind yesterday.
This morning I am off to the tip , then to get some storage boxes and carry on sorting when I get home . Plus i must do my ironing the pile is very high.

  • I am also taking part in a trial to see whether having Vitamin D in your system helps you fight off Covid better. I had to do a pin !!!!!! test and then put blood samples on a piece of card , all the equipment needed was provided. I need to post that today, should be interesting . If my vitamin d levels are low I will get a supply of tablets sent to me .

That’s interesting - when I broke my leg at the end of last year I started taking a vitamin D supplement because I wasn’t going outside. Mr SA was very poorly earlier this year with all the symptoms of Covid, his breathing was so bad I thought he’d end up in hospital. I then caught a very mild version of whatever he had. He was still suffering with his chest weeks later, mine cleared up pretty quickly.
