I should have been having my hair done today by my niece but yesterday she had a Covid test as someone at work had tested positive, her test has come back positive as well . Luckily neither my mum or dad have seen her for 2 weeks so we aren't affected . She has bad asthma so I hope she is going to be ok.I have a lovely smelling beef casserole in the oven , proper winter food .I think I am babysitting my GKs later as it's DD and SIL wedding anniversary tomorrow.Have a good day everyone.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.5

I went in M&S for a coffee last week and they were a bit shirty with me when I hadn’t scanned the QR code. I agree about the app , lots of older people don't have smart phones , just giving your details is just as good .Babysitting last night over and done by 9pm , DD said it was a lovely treat . It only seems yesterday that we were having breakfast in bed on her wedding day .I am hoping to get out for a walk before it rains , but need to check in with niece and sister in law to see if they need anything first. Sister in law is awaiting her results from Covid test as well, she saw my niece on Thursday for a few mins so we are hoping she is ok.I am on leave again in a week as we should have been flying to Tenerife on Friday for DDs big birthday . I have the use of the caravan to look forward to and am hoping to do the bulk of my Christmas shopping . I am not looking forward to it at all want to avoid shops and people. Will mainly do click and collect I think .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3
