Glad you had a lovely weekend but boo to not being allowed on the craft weekend despite testing negative, totally unfair. Sounds like you have a fabulous plan B in place so enjoy every moment xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Blimey. Imagine banning you from the craft fair even though you had a negative test.
Glad that you had a good time with your parents.

Wow, that they have banned you. I understand the need to be careful, but your negative test, social distancing and hand washing is allowed everywhere else.
Glad you have replaced it with a short break too.
Enjoy your mum's birthday as best you can. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

I think I have accepted that the world is upside down and it's one of those things that I can't control. My mum has had a really good day despite Covid , she has had visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren all at different times and outside.I was there at 9.00am to put the odd banner up and helium balloons . She saved cutting her cake until the GGC came.I have packed ready for my short break and hope to be off early in the morning. The weather looks good for the next three days , I hope I am lucky.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

Arrived in my happy place at 9. 30 this morning , have been on the open top bus and had a long walk. The weather has been warm but grey all day, I left the sunshine at home. Have walked around 10 miles so not so bad. Am about to go and get chips and sausage and eat it in my favourite place , there will be no sunset sadly. Tomorrow I am off out for the day . I dread to think how much money I have spent this week but I have got my money back from my other hotel so all good .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

Sorry you had to miss out on your craft week. It sounds like you've managed to find some way to relax and have fun anyway. The world is strange these days but being adaptable is a good attribute.
