If you declared no turnover and claimed expenses that would have resulted in a loss. Unfortunately, given also that you had tax deducted under SC60, it would have been very likely that the return would be scrutinised. I hope the amendment doesn’t hold things up too much but it could well do just that.

I phoned earlier they said that they sent a letter on the 15th requesting identity check? 

What does this involve?

Nothing alarming... I.d bank statement for account details utility bill and u need to declare who filed your return and if you have ever given out your user I.d

Yours still showing pending or has it disappeared. Loads getting told letters been sent now . Hoping still a few from 6th that are pending that will be issued this week 🤞🏻

If they sent letter on the 15th which was Saturday should be there when I get home from work if was sent second class

Prob more likely to arrive towards end of week as Royal Mail wouldn’t have collected until Monday. Some people seem to have got letters today but think that was ones sent on 12th

It’s that time of year again 😂.
for some reason this year though, the portal seems very slow and often times out.

also for some reason HMRC online believed that I took SEISS grants in the year 2021-2022. This is incorrect and my last was December 2020. Hopefully cleared that up quickly with an online advisor this morning but I have to talk to them again on Friday to double check.
has Anyone else’s online return flagged up SEISS for this year even if you haven’t taken any?
