But with Nationwide you can get up to £500 per tax year for referring 5 friends. If you have more than 5 friends willing to switch, then lucky you. I can't find a single person willing to switch their account for £100. And I asked plenty of people.0 -
There's an overlap of people willing to switch two accounts with people willing to switch one account. There's no overlap with that of people not willing to switch any at all.SlovakianGuy wrote: »But with Nationwide you can get up to £500 per tax year for referring 5 friends. The problem is the market is saturated with people willing to refer others, but there are relatively few willing to put the work in and be on the other side of that bargain. Those rare few who have an account they could switch would be better off holding out for others of a like mind so that they can pair up and get £200 for a pair of switches, rather than £100 followed by a long fruitless search for someone else to refer.SlovakianGuy wrote: »I can't find a single person willing to switch their account for £100. Only if you open a new TSB Classic or Classic Plus account and switch to that, bearing in mind you are limited to one sole and one joint on the Plus account.I am a member of TSB but never actually switched or been referred. Depends what the poster means by "a member of TSB". If they mean they already have a TSB current account then the offer T&Cs would seem to exclude them...Only if you open a new TSB Classic or Classic Plus account and switch to that, bearing in mind you are limited to one sole and one joint on the Plus account.1.5 You must not already have a current account with TSB at the time of referral.0
