So sorry to hear you situation hasn't improved at all Manpants - it must be a very stressful time for you :(

Obviously I don't know the details, but would you partner not look after your pet for you until you have got yourself sorted with a place to live?

Declaring early for today on 6/12 please Shaggy.

Hope you have a lovely holiday Maman - it will be nice to get away from this wet, miserable weather for a few weeks - hopefully Summer will have arrived by the time you return

So sorry to hear that your situation is so dreadful MP. I'm sure you'll get back to AFness at some point but it's not your priority right now. Do try not to overdo it though. And please come on here and offload if it helps at all.:A

Thanks sukey. Last year was amazing. I came back and the weather stayed wonderful right through until the autumn.

I'm calling June on 5/10 AFDs please Shaggy.

I know it's pathetic so I'm delighted that I got in so many bonus days last month and will again.:D

I'll be back in early July, ready to jump on that wagon. :)

    Hello everyone,

Not sure if I was going to post this or not but I "know" most of you by now and sometimes just writing things down helps in a weird sort of way. Life threw me a curve ball yesterday with an unexpected diagnoses of breast cancer. I say unexpected as I only went for a scan at the end of Jan and all was well. However due to family history I go once a year for a scan at another hospital. I was called back and after further investigation "bam," you have Cancer. How could that be based on a clear scan in the routine screening 4 months ago? You may well ask, and I have and hopefully I will get an explanation.

I'm 49, with husband, two kids and a three legged dog. Life until yesterday was pretty much perfect. Today my thought processes have changed.

I'll leave it until now and update another time

    3 please Shaggy

good luck with your 30 day challenge!

Thank you. Day one completed and it was a crisp free day too! And I kept below 1400 calories.
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

That is terrible news Arkers - it must be such a shock for you - especially after getting the all clear earlier in the year.

Thinking of you and your family and wishing you all the best with whatever treatment follows - we are here if you need to offload at anytime xxx

    Hi Arkers,

How awful. My eldest sister was diagnosed with BC in 2012: she was 55. 7 years on it's never come back. My S-I-L also had a diagnosis of BC 3 years ago, she was 50. She's still fine too.

But whenever I go for mamogram I am petrified waiting for the results. I also got called back to Charing Cross hospital on my first mamogram (it turned out to be nothing) just weeks after my sister's diagnosis. I was about 5 days waiting for my appointment. I was so scared.

Hopefully, they have caught it early. But nevertheless I feel for you. It's such a horrible shock. It changes everything. It colours everything.

Keep posting. We are all rooting for you.
