I don't know either maman, that's one of the many mysteries! I think we can assume though that K9 will not be back this month at least ... shame as he seemed a nice chap!maman said:How intriguing. What on earth is the Daily Mail Rewards club? Every day is a school day. 🤣

17/21 for yesterday please.
I haven't decided whether I'm going to have a drink today. My DD, SiL and DGD are coming over this afternoon and a glass of something in the garden might be nice. DD is still breastfeeding though so I might keep her company with an AF spritzer 🙂. I will as usual report tomorrow. X

We haven't really had very good luck with new people joining, have we? ... Outoftheviciouscircle left MSE quite quickly, doingitanyway was doing really well but then had troubles in real life and K9 has also come a cropper! Lucky we have such a loyal little band of people who stick with it through thick and thin xxx

Don't be so hard on yourself cathy. I think we've done brilliantly to have so many of us having AF days during lockdown. So many people have been eating and drinking to excess for comfort or through boredom. We're doing well to hold it together. 👏👏👏cathybird said:We haven't really had very good luck with new people joining, have we? ... That's true about many drinking to excess, maman, and I actually do know people who are doing that! I more meant that we'd had a few people join the thread in the past couple of months but then they left again, at least for now. It happens on MSE a lot though. What I was trying to say is that I do think the supportiveness of the thread is something to cherishmaman said:

I agree cathybird. I don't need (or want) to know the details of people's lives but I care about their progress in this Giving Up/Cutting Down journey. It is a shame though that so many people seem to have stopped posting. As you say though, it happens on MSE. Before I joined this thread (April 2019 😀) I lurked for a long time, probably over a year, and saw many posters come and go. Some have remained though and I am grateful to you all.3
