It's 17/21 for me today

I thought there was something ‘not quite right’ about it. But then I also thought, it’s a new member to the thread, better to be welcoming, also not my place to start asking questions as might not appear very friendly. But still...something fishy there.cathybird said:

I took Weds, Thurs and today off work, haven’t been tempted to break my AF spell. Got up early and went for a run this morning before it got too hot, then did the food shopping, dropped my OH at work, now got the afternoon free...very nice. And it will be nice to wake up tomorrow with a clear head.
17/31 for me please cathybird. Have a good weekend all.3 -
Glad it wasn't just me. I took the posts at face value but I've never heard of being grounded on here. It sounded like being banned, which made me wonder why. Very odd. 🤔Season_of_Mist said:

Weekday football is finished now so normal service resumed from Monday. 😁♥️⚽3 -
Hi all, late to the party here! My 2020 is a big "cut down" year; each day I don't have a drink I put £5 in a jar (Well, 20p isn't an incentive!) So far, saved £710. Bingo! Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!3

I assumed "grounded" meant something a bit different and (maybe) a bit jokey - I thought maybe what happened was K9 had lost computer connection or his laptop was broken but he couldn't leave the house to get it fixed because of the pandemic (hence the "grounded"bit??) so rang a friend and asked them to post on his behalf while he tried to sort it out. But who knows! It would be unusual for people to have no internet connection at all these days and if something goes wrong with the computer there's always the smartphone, so my theory doesn't quite add up either. I hope he's all right, anyway.maman said:

I've just looked up K9's profile and he has indeed been banned - he joined on 26 June and was banned on 6 July. The person who was posting on his behalf, X, joined on 7 July and was banned on 12 July. I think X was K9 under another name.

PS as to why - "K9" and "X" were both posting on the Daily Mail Rewards Club thread and sharing codes there with other people for something or another - without knowing anything about the Daily Mail Rewards Club, sounds like something you're not supposed to do!

How intriguing. What on earth is the Daily Mail Rewards club? Every day is a school day. 🤣4
