Thanks for the shout out Season of Mist but I don’t think it is well deserved - I am having a very difficult month, struggling to come to terms with the job redundancy and the death of FIL ☹️. You are definitely deserving of a special smiley for 3 months AF 👏.
Have been giving my July target a lot of thought and I’m really not sure - I think I will bow-out altogether as real life seems to be getting on top of me at the moment 😢.
Sending my best wishes to you all - you are a lovely supportive bunch - keep safe everyone ❤️3 -
Why don’t you try for a really low number like 3, in March/April when I was really struggling due to being off work and work uncertainty I just set myself really small targets, like just trying to get the odd day here and there. Don’t throw in the towel yet, there will be plenty of good months ahead for you although you when the wind changes. I hope I don’t sound patronising just don’t want too see you give up xsukeyboo said:Thanks for the shout out Season of Mist but I don’t think it is well deserved - I am having a very difficult month, struggling to come to terms with the job redundancy and the death of FIL ☹️. I'd hate to see you go sukey. I know RL is really hard for you but I really don't think you'll revert to daily drinking after doing so well for so long.
Why not try as lantanna suggests or TF? Sending you a big hug whatever you decide.

Sukeyboo, I agree with lantanna and maman, why not just aim for a really low target, say one day a week even - just to keep in touch? I'm just concerned that if you leave you may find it a struggle to come back xxsukeyboo said:Thanks for the shout out Season of Mist but I don’t think it is well deserved - I am having a very difficult month, struggling to come to terms with the job redundancy and the death of FIL ☹️. Surkeyboo, I had a period of time about 8 years ago when I stopped posting and it took me probably a further 3-4 years to pick it up again. It would be really nice if you try to keep in touch even if it’s still hard to have AF days. No one is judging.Live for the moment and plan for the future4

There is no judgement at all and that is why this is such a powerful uplifting thread.CuppaTea said:Surkeyboo, I had a period of time about 8 years ago when I stopped posting and it took me probably a further 3-4 years to pick it up again. It would be really nice if you try to keep in touch even if it’s still hard to have AF days.
