I posted a long post today. It’s not here now. Unsure why. Can’t remember what unsaid. But I mentioned HB too.
21/20. First time I’ve beaten target for a very long time.
Looking back I’ve done Monday-Thursday 3 weeks in a row. January-March were appalling. Here is to May.

Morning. I’m unsure. So won’t declare yet.

Such lovely positive posts and apologies for those missed off who did brilliantly in April, Marahouti, Season of mist and others too. I find this new site really irritating in that if I try to go back to check I lose the post so expect I have still left out people doing really well in very trying circumstances.

I am very sad that Honeybear isn't posting too as I always valued her views and thought provoking comments. I'm certain she isn't drinking, just hoping she is well and keeping safe.

A new month, hard to believe it is May already. I intend to have a drink tonight, hopefully remaining a sensible amount but also want to kick off my AFDs tomorrow Saturday. This is partly because May is a month with 5 weekends so I can't plan to have a drink Friday Saturday and Sunday and make target - see occasionally I can count 😉 (after getting very confused last month with AFDs and changing numbers several times).

Thank you for agreeing to pick up the monthly challenge too Cathybird, very much appreciated. I remain surprised at how much those smileys mean to me. Thank you so much for all the work you did too Shaggy and great you will still be posting. As a few people have said some of the posters who had been around for a while no longer post and it would be very sad to lose you as well. I hope your full house is keeping you busy but not overwhelmed Shaggy.

    Have a good weekend all.

hi Shaggy, yes I am completely happy to run the monthly challenge, either just for now or till whenever, if that's OK with everyone? ... As soon as you wanted to come back you would just have to say the word. xx :)

    Thanks Cathy
I will update the challenges today and pass the baton to you for now.
I thought I would have more time to myself working from home, in fact I have far less. Mostly, because there are 3 of us in the house. My OH normally travels a lot and DS is out at work all day. So there is constant housework...people cooking, dishwasher on every day, etc etc... everyone is pitching in but there is just more...
Anyways, I'm doing ok with the AFDs - did the SNC this week. I'm contemplating having an AF weekend but, sure, it's not the first time I've said that recently and it doesn't happen.
Hope everyone is staying safe and that your work situation is not too stressful. Redundancies have started in DH's company, which is always unsettling...my niece looks like she will have to cancel her wedding...haven't heard of anyone else who died of covid, I guess that is something.

Thanks everyone for the good wishes.

    Shaggyx

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
