So many people doing well, Arkers, Barney, Cathybird, Lantanna, Maman, Wannabeefree (and sorry to those I have missed) - even if not at target very close. CuppaTea doing even better with the level of temptation - teenagers and lockdown not a very easy mix. I am having moments when I am emotional and quite down too, missing family and friends very much indeed, social media and video calls not quite as satisfying as a hug!
So declaring early again 20/20 for tonight. I often have not made target but think I am now on track to achieve my annual target. I need to continue and try to make not drinking in the week a habit.
Thank you and a pat on the back to
    you too.
Likewise with the not drinking in the week. I also need to ensure I don’t go barmy at the weekend either.

It’s a sad day taking HB off the list. She was huge part of this group with her pearls of wisdom. I doubt she’ll go back to drinking too, not after this long. I hope one day she checks in, just to let us know she’s ok. It’s hard not to wonder if some of the missing people might be part of the 26,000 C19 deaths. I hope not.
I won’t declare yet for today. But feel a bit confident as we have an online fitness class this evening and cheering at 8pm. Plus it’s still a school night.
I’m kind of thinking about not drinking tomorrow too, to kick start May. Not sure. One day at a time.

Declaring early so 14/16 for me for this evening please Shaggy.
Thanks for the well done Maggie, I'm mainly on the naughty step so it felt good to be included in your post. Good luck with your annual target!
Honeybear was an amazing contributor to the thread and I feel really pleased to have had all her wise words to read while she was with us. It was good of her not to just go awol too, I sometimes think back to older posters and wonder what happened to them, why they left will always be a mystery but HB was good enough to warn us.
  • Sorry I left sukeyboo off the ‘well done’ list, esp deserved after a rough time with FIL being unwell.

Also I was vague about May target. I will go for 31 please Shaggy.

I've updated the list ... assuming there are still updates to come later today and even tomorrow. :)

Thanks Season of mist - it has been a funny old month for many reasons. You have done amazingly well to stay AF for the whole month 👏. I am going to have some wine this evening so my total is complete for the month - thanks for the annual totals update Cathybird 😀

    Hi Guys,
I'll be in tomorrow to update the challenges.
I'm doing ok on the AF front. But. I'm really busy and finding it impossible to pop on to MSE as much as I'd like Cathy would you like to take on the Monthly Challenge ? I'll still be poping in to report my AFDs, I won't be going away. I just think it would be nicer for everyone to have more updates.
Let me know what you think.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
