Don’t be too hard on yourself CuppaTea - I do have wine in the house but I am finding that if I tell myself I can have a drink later if I really fancy it then (mainly 😉) I am managing to stay AF. If I tell myself ‘I’m not allowed’ then the urge to drink seems greater - maybe I’m just weird 😜6

I went outside and did some gardening and gave myself a talking too. Feel better now.Live for the moment and plan for the future6

It may sound strange but I really fancied a drink at 8 o'clock when we were out on the doorstep doing the applause for key workers. I suppose it feels a bit like New Year's Eve.
I didn't though. 😁
Are you in self isolation cuppa? Can't you get out at all? Sounds really tough but you're doing ever so well. 😉6 -

Completely agree Sukeyboo. Being told I can't makes me immediately want whatever it is more - so don't think you are weird at all!sukeyboo said:Don’t be too hard on yourself CuppaTea - I do have wine in the house but I am finding that if I tell myself I can have a drink later if I really fancy it then (mainly 😉) I am managing to stay AF. 2/20 please - but I am intending to have some wine tonight!

Well done for resisting Maman. 👍🏻 Yes me and the kids are having to self isolate for the 12 weeks. They are good company though and we are a team, so it could be worse. I am reliant on friends to do my shopping. It’s working well so far, but I do feel like a burden. I find my mood fluctuates throughout the day. I’m being mindful of when it dips and try to do something productive at that point. I don’t want these 3 months to turn negative and for my drinking to turn into most days just through boredom and loneliness. I’m going to bed at the same time on week days and getting up for the day with the kids for “school “. It’s Easter holidays next week. The lack of routine could be interesting.maman said:It may sound strange but I really fancied a drink at 8 o'clock when we were out on the doorstep doing the applause for key workers. Maman, I thought last week when we clapped it felt like NYE too, as it was dark. Yesterday it was just light and felt like a mini street party.Live for the moment and plan for the future3
