CuppaTea, I went to shops first thing this morning for essentials, walked up the alcohol aisle, had a brief look, then carried on walking. We can do this.
25/28 for me thank you.
Thanks Season of Mistand well done you for looking at the alcohol and then walking away, that is real self-control!

Had to queue outside Tesco local with safe spacing. He said there was a bit more stuff inside, a lot of fresh food, but still no loo rollsWeather beautiful today!ShaggyXx
I agree Cuppa Tea, this confuses me too, why the rush for the bog rolls?

Wow lovely to read how well lots of people are doing, especially in these trying circumstances.I went shopping yesterday, quite excited to be out! The safe distancing rule meant the queue went round the car park but moved quickly. There were lots of full shelves with some noticeable omissions, loo rolls, crisps, tinned vegetables (no tomato purée 😱). I did buy 2 bottles of wine and it was a real struggle last night not to open one but I got through that. I will be joining you Shaggy on an AF weekend 🤞.So 7/10 to last night - need to remain AF Saturday, Sunday and a Monday to achieve target!5

Well done Maggiem. That’s brilliant to avoid the temptation.I had 2 people drop wine to me yesterday unexpectedly. I think it was a Saturday night thing. So I did drink one and I’m going to put the other in the shed and try to forget about it.I think I’ll be happy if I drink once a week. Having gone 5 days in a row, I noticed by day 5 I was thinking about it less. But now I have a bottle hanging around that temptation will be harder to resist.I’ll put my thinking cap on for some strategies.Have a good Sunday everyone.Live for the moment and plan for the future5

8/10 for yesterday thanks.I agree CuppaTea that having wine in the house, or shed, makes it harder to resist - I think I am the same about chocolate, love it but rarely eat it as I can't stop at one or two squares. That's fine when I don't have any in but once I know I have some, whether for Christmas or Easter I get very tempted and more so if I have had some wine. Wish will power was acquirable by tablet 😉.5

I figure it's a bit less bad for the health than alcohol though? ... Dunno but not willing to give it up, that's for sure
