Hi - I have contacted HQ about this to raise the profile of this issue. I know they are working flat out on a number of things which are behaving differently than they did in testing. Hopefully they will be able to come up with a good way forward

Thanks for taking the time to respond mallygirl . I appreciate that board guides have been asked to reassure us but the silence from mse in terms of feedback is deafening.

Posted on the link Cathybird - thanks for taking the time to advise, I didn't realise that no one was listening (mallygirl) excluded.  Sometimes I just post and run so don't always take in the bigger picture.

Thanks Season of Mist - he (or she) is being really unhelpful - his latest post says trying to get the emojis fixed was "self-important" and the fact that a few of us have posted about it is "lobbying" and "a misuse" of the forum! I'm quite concerned the mere fact that someone is trying to undermine the request could cause problems. I don't agree with anything that poster says. You're right, he (or she) is missing the point - basically trolling us, really.

Seem to have missed some of these posts Cathybird, sounds awful. Big thank you for everything you are doing. I have to say I really don’t like the new forum at all so haven’t been posting much. I hate not seeing the date that people have posted. 

I’m on day 10 AFDs. I’ve had a crappy day at work and was really going to have a drink tonight, but when I got in I just didn’t fancy it, and rather than think sod it I’m having one, I had a cuppa tea instead!

evening everyone!  12/29 please Shaggy.  I also posted some days back on the snagging thread re. the emojis, cathybird, though quite happy to post again (and again!). 
Now, I did write that I was going for a dry Feb but the OH looked rather crestfallen re. Feb 14th - so for that evening only I will have some alcohol, then back onto the waggon for the rest of the month.
