Listen up, everyone - I'm really concerned that so few of us have commented on the "New Forum Snagging" post to draw attention to the problem with the emojis. We can't just sit here and assume that someone somewhere will fix it at some point. If few people complain about it the powers that be will assume it's not an important issue. At the moment the only AFDers to comment are myself and Honey Bear (and maman I think?), and some other random forum user had a go at one of my comments and said the emojis didn't matter, which has made me quite angry, to be honest. Can everyone please go onto this thread and ask for it to be fixed: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6100014/new-forum-snagging/p86 The numbers matter! If it looks as though only two or three MSEers care they might ignore it altogether.

The Debt-Free Wannabe board guides are MallyGirl and enthusiasticsaver. It would be helpful to contact them as well.I think maybe people are thinking that the pics sitting funny is just an error and if we don't do anything at all eventually they will be fixed. Maybe it's because my job involves a design element but to me it's obvious that whoever redesigned the site decided that pics should sit in the middle of the screen as a matter of principle, which is the thing that has played havoc with the emojis, but whoever made that decision may never even notice unless we say it's a problem, and they're definitely not going to change it unless we point out why it does not work.3

I've posted Cathybird although getting frustrated that there doesn't seem to be any response and, as I have said, reading through 92 pages is just not possible. Let's hope the use of emojis is being looked at - I can't quite believe how important this issue is to me and I assume lots of others on the thread so am hoping others will post too.4

I know there isn't any response on the thread, which is very frustrating, but the more of us that make a noise about this, the more likely they are to assume it's something that needs to be fixed.

I've messaged both the board guides asking if can help get us some feedback particularly on emojis, colour and making lists although the issues with the new site seem endless.
5/10 AFDs please Shaggy5 -
Me posting on the snagging thread and emailing the board guides about this

Cathybird, thank you for continuing to argue the case on our behalf. I have posted on the snagging thread. You are probably right that numbers count when they are prioritising what order to do the work on. Also you could have done without the sneering tone adopted by that other poster and well done for speaking up. Talk about them missing the point; yes, the emojis on our thread may not mean a thing to that individual but to us, well, we all know what it means to get that cheerful elephant award.4

I have posted on the snagging thread too cathybird - let's hope they are actually reading and taking note of the comments.3
