animated-smileys-winter-008.gif = This is very much me at the moment....we don't have any pets, so I love feeding the birds!

Me too Shaggy :) I've got pet birds but also feed the birds that come to my garden - love them - sparrows, tits, goldfinches, chaffinches - starlings too, and the occasional woodpecker, more in spring though. Also there's a sparrowhawk that comes and tries its luck and occasionally catches one of the little birds. Which is Nature, I guess! The sparrowhawk is very beautiful. :)

Yes, we get all them - lots of starlings (which is good as they are not doing so well I read in Gardeners World). And Yes! we've had a woodpecker or two - amazing! Here in London woodpeckers! And seen a sparrowhawk high above - once!

Lots of finches, tits, robins, blackbirds, magpies, jays and pigeons (I'm weird, I love pigeons) tons of parakeets...

    Fun!
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Re : DH's Snoring

DH has lost half a stone this month (already! he's not even that overweight honest!) and bought some funny thing for his nose.....which helped the snoring.

BUT a few nights ago he decided to have a decaf tea before bed. No snoring. Didn't do it for two nights (snoring - I had to go to the spare room). Then did it for 3 nights drunk decaf tea - no snoring!!!

Googled it and tea can help snorers - snorers snore for lots of different reasons so I guess it won't help everyone....who knew?! RESULT!

Thank you for this tip Shaggy, I must get OH to try this, his snoring is epic and even in the spare room I struggle to sleep......

On day 20 AFD today, so glad I didn’t give in this weekend, feeling pleased with myself for sticking to my tea and AF beer

We love our birds too Shaggy, visit today from our local sparrow population, all the tits, Woodpeckers, nut hatch, bullfinches, wag tails and the sparrow hawk took down a starling from our feeder last week brutal but necessary. We also have a delightful pair of collared doves who always make me feel all fuzzy inside:A

Shaggy and Arkers, how fabulous, so good to hear :) There is a book called "Bird Therapy" (I think) which suggests nature-watching is good for mental health, especially dealing with anxiety, and I'm sure it is. Birds are so fascinating to watch! And it is good to feel you are helping. :)
