So I had an idea about not being able to sign in on my laptop but it all works perfectly on my phone.
I went into saved passwords and found I have seven entries for MSE on 2 different email addresses. I deleted the lot. Then typed in the details I am using for my phone..........and I am in. Not sure how or why I had 7 saved passwords for one site, but I think Microsoft was finding it difficult to distinguish and so it didnt bother.
Anyway, makes my life easier when I want to type more than a few lines.

I will defintely be coming back as a new/different user handle as the email address I use for shaggy no longer exists....What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Shaggy, can you not update your email address in some way? Can you ask the mods perhaps? It seems a great shame to lose the shaggydoo handle if you've used it for years and years

I both got a reminder email from mse and there's a banner on my phone under the thread asking me to update my email address. You should be able to do that and keep your username with the updated email address:).0 -
Another AF Saturday to record so I am up to 17/28, thank you. I have to say I am finding these AF weekends easier as time passes. Just two years ago I would have said “no chance”, but it really can be done.0
