Welcome back Pollyanna!
No more to report here. Season of Mist is right there are some fantastic totals on here - well done everyone!
Tuesday I had a s*d it day at home.
Wednesday I canned my planned non-drinking day at friends as one of them had bubbly to celebrate her book deal and I didn't want to play scrooge as it's her happiest news for ages. A small glass felt like an AFD wasted which was a dangerous set of thoughts I need to watch.
Last night I met up with an ex-colleague and drank as planned.
I have put my planned AFD days in
November on the calendar, I just need to stick to it now!
11th 12th 13th 14th 18th 19th 20th 22nd 25th 27th 28th 29th.
That would be a really good November for me.
I decided to try and focus on losing weight this week. I'd love to lose 5lbs before Christmas. I have acquired these since March so it would be good to end the year at least no heavier than I started it. An ongoing health problem stopped my gym routine but I've restarted the last few weeks and ramped it up a notch this week.0 -
I want my first ever cat on the moon this month. This is why I'm doing this!0

Aww, thanks for the welcome back, I honestly didn't think anyone would notice little old me.
I say I lost the plot last week, but I had it off work as it was half term and I just felt like drinking. I didn't lose control or anything or get silly drunk. As I have kids and I don't want that for them.
Whilst I do feel better for this week as I have done all 5 nights of the SNC, wahey, I think I am taking a different approach to it.
I'm trying not to beat myself up if I drink because it's not the end of the world. I have proved to myself that I can control it and I'm not drinking as much as I used to. I've taken advantage of the 25% Tesco last week and my shed is fully stocked.
The old me would just drink it cos it was there, but now I don't feel that need. In fact, I actually prefer it to be there "just in case" (gosh that sounds bad), as it's better than me thinking, "Oh no, there's nothing in" and so I pop to the shop to get a bottle. And then because I've specially gone out for it, well, then I have to drink it, don't I?
My aim for the rest of the year is still to make my target of 183. That means I have to stick to all the SNC this month and than I will have to hit 18 for December. I have worked out that this is all doable by drinking Fridays and Saturdays and then it gives me a few more for NYE and Xmas Day and one or two others when I might be off work.
Looking forward to next year? Who knows? But I know I want to continue not drinking during the week. I don't want to commit to this because there might be the odd time (holidays etc) where I just might feel like drinking. I think the key for me is not to obsess about the whole thing. I'll see if it works anyhows!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Good Luck! Me and my sisters have just started (4th Nov) a plan to lose weight for my nieces wedding next summer (my youngest sister's daughter). I think it will spur me on knowing that I have to confess to them....that said DH and youngest DS have just organised takeaway for tonight :-/What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
