  • No drinking here today. I was tempted again. I think it was being tired, thirsty and hungry when I got home from work.

9/10 and 3/4 for the SNC.

I'm halfway to my annual target so just need another 10 months before January!
  • Hello all !

Love a Sale, I'm so glad you went to a meeting and were pleasantly surprised by it. Some people swear by AA and the important thing at this stage, I'd have thought, is that you found the meeting helpful and interesting. If it helps - great, if not, then best avoided. It's entirely up to you how you organise your life and only you can know what will help you get to where you want to be. That's as complicated as it needs to be at this stage - and I'm all in favour of a great cuppa and cake!

30/31 please, and have a lovely time in York, Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.

I agree. I wouldn't be tempted to 'overthink' this loveasale. You've been though a tough time and one thing you're certain of is that you don't want to 'overdrink' to help you through it. :A

    No drinking here today.

    16/10 AFDs please Shaggy.

Thank you for the kind words , I was a little upset by the slightly negative reaction by a poster who doesn’t ‘know’ me !
I am after all only human , saying what I found the meeting to be ( without being disloyal to AA and being a big mouth) I’ve said it’s not for me , but some people just won’t let it lay !
