There you go.:) Have a great time. Where are you? If it's Brittany, enjoy the galettes. I like the poireaux et fromage :)

No, we're in Lille. OH's team is playing the tonight so we thought we'd combine his trip here with a break for both of us, and a visit to the European Parliament to visit our friend who is a new MEP tomorrow. Sadly for us she's got to be in London tomorrow after all *curses* but one of her team is going to give us a guided tour anyway. It's not the same as having lunch with her, but this might be our last chance so we're making it work for us. We've found a great little flat in the old part of Lille and I'm totally in love with the city.

Hi Shaggy - and everyone else

    Can I join in please?
I was on here a few years ago with a name and account password long since forgotten - which is why I have had to set up a new account.

In the meantime, I'll scan my brain and see if I can remember who I was
    Thank you
    Lou xx

Welcome back Lou. A thread completely disappeared a couple of years ago, Shaggy took some time out and for a while it was touch and go but all due to Cathybird and Baileys (I think) we managed to hold it together while we regrouped. All back to normal now, thank goodness. Welcome back.

    Morning all!
    Welcome Lou ,
Good start to Oct , ok so only one day in so far but at the moment I really don’t feel I will wanting a drink over the next few days ,,
I’m still in knots over BF ,,, didn’t have the chat with so to speak of ,, that’s because I saw another woman’s text come through! This time someone who he deals with via work , I asked him about it and he said it was a on going long joke that a few of them have , but as I’m not feeling 100% secure with him at the moment I’m not sure I believe him ..

It sounds as though you might be feeling a bit anxious at the moment, and focussing that anxiety on your relationship, Love a Sale. It's normal for single people of both sexes to have friends and acquaintances of both sexes. If he didn't know any women other than you, it would actually be quite worrying.

    2/31 please Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.

How exciting. It is a lovely city. :)

Our former captain is playing for Lille but I don't want them to win. He disappeared after the last Euros as he thought he'd won the cup all on his own (small matter of Cristiano to help) and wanted more money.

Don't be too disheartened, your friend might have a few more months yet. ;)

I think it was Dan who said about book by Alan Carr , I’ve not read that one but did the Jason Vale version , I think very similar in its way of brain washing , your not giving up ,,, you are gaining freedom,
It worked for me but only temporarily,,,, but I have a long history of alcohol that is hard to beat !

Welcome Back! Whoever you are :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
