    Sorry are we comparing different things even on those full blown prices fttp is much cheaper than £60. 30-40 is the usual price band for 80mb - I had an offer yesterday for low 40s for 150mb.

    Fibre to the Pole .150 and 300 mb ultrafast fibre .
    Dont know about to the premises .

    Was your offer from BT ??
    My offer was £27 pm but that was on top of my already paid line rental /circa £20 pm .+ £47 pm .
    that of course is an existing customer offer .

    I realise this is dragging off topic but BT offer the same prices for fttp (p=premises not pole) as fttc/G.Fast. So you can get bb+line for £30-40 @ 80/20mb on fttp. (inc as an existing customer with negotiation)

    I'm not actually sure who's arguing what on here now :) but doesn't that make Fibrenest decent value and not 'phenomenally expensive' as the OP claimed or am I missing something?

    £30 for 20/2
    £40 for 125/10
    £45 for 250/25
    £50 for 500/50

    All prices include £5 for landline.

    Obviously I can't speak to latency/contention etc but the prices don't look that high. Cheaper than BTs normal and most offers.

    This is moneysavingexpert we don't pay the listed price! Officially Bts price is £39 but if you see in this forum many (myself included) have paid a lot less for their 80/20. If you're getting Fttp you can only choose a few suppliers atm, fttc many more. (Sounds like you have a pole mounted manifold distributing your fibre to your house)

    Given the OP hasn't post again and seems to be posting on another technical blog site, I will just finish with this from Fibrenest's own web site T&C page
    “FibreNest” is the trading name of Persimmon Homes Limited, which is providing the Service to you in accordance with your Contract;
    So it is an in-house ISP which means zero access to third party companies until they decide.
