Why is my home's sold price public, but that of celebs isn't?

I thought John Bishop was the dancer in the Happy Mondays0

There are mistakes as well as excluded transactions. I think our property's invisibility in the stats is a mistake, unless the rules about inclusion have changed since 2009.
I bought my council house, they valued it at what I thought was a low £100,000 with 35% discount, would Zoopla use the discounted price?0 -

Zoopla blindly indexes the the price from the last transaction. So it may show a house being worth far less due to the previous transaction many years ago being a council house occupier purchase.
And disregards extensions, even major ones, until a new transaction revalues the property.0 -
Lovely, an' all... but that didn't answer my questions.
I didn't ask who he was. I asked if I should know who he is, and if I should care.
The answer to both of those appears to be no, so I'm happy to remain unaware as to his undoubtedly C-list status and "achievements".
He’s a comedian, lots find him funny, some don’t, as is the case with all comedians.
Your comment just makes you look oddly snobbish. I’m sure there are loads of people who are reasonably famous that I wouldn’t recognise if I passed them in the street, but I don’t think that’s any kind of achievement or cause for pride!0 -
I'm not sure what you want them to do? Join the queue thus pushing Mr Poorperson down even further?
If there was no private queue allowed for the well off then the staff and resources could be used to keep the general queue shorter for everyone.
That’s not the fault of those who use their advantage though.0 -

(and, no, not "snobbish" in any sense. Relatively few people actually give the first toss about minor slebs, so perhaps giving some clue as to what this person is meant to be famous for - such as saying "Comedian John Bishop" in the original post - would have been worthwhile?)0
