They’re obviously not giving your approach to them their full attention (maybe Tracey was busy filing her nails at the time!).

I would turn that back on them by stating that you are now totally confused, you are getting letters from Highview, yet Tesco are talking about Horizon.

Ask them lots of awkward questions like

Are Horizon and Highview the same organisation? Their names seem to have a broad connection.

Are both operating at the xxxxx store (where you incurred your ticket)?

Which part of the car park does each cover?

Are there separate signs in each appropriate sector?

........ you get the drift. Make this list of questions long and too much trouble to answer, a cancellation being the easier option for Tesco.

Tell them that unless a satisfactory response is forthcoming, you will have no option other than to report this to the British Parking Association (of which both Highview and Horizon are members), to the DVLA (who released your details to Highview) and to your local MP, as you are suspicious, given Tesco’s response naming Horizon, that something fraudulent might be occurring between the two parking firms. You will be asking for a full investigation!

I've tried to understand the opening post, however the key information is not all that clear, as its a wall of text.,
especially the what why and how.

Before poor old Tracey gets a fiery response, the OP neeeds to provide the key information:

Was this a Tesco superstore, or one of those mini/metro stores?
is it on a shared retail park, or is it Tescos own car park?
was this an overstay? failure to display a ticket? failure to input car registration number on a hidden terminal? other? combination of those?

i have recently been fined from this group bfor using tesco at Hailsham uk i had a lot on ibwas under two hours stay BUT i put the ticket in my car window ( not typing into a machine ) duhh ! i have maiked tesco as i went in the outlet after recieving the fine but no manager could see me.. i maiked and

This is not a fine, and when dealing with these things its important to get the terminology correct, otherwise you can dig yourself into a hole.

So from the top, what happened?

Can you put some paragraphs in please and if posting on a phone, please stop, for your own good, as you really cannot see the forum properly like that.

The following is the response from Tesco Tracy.. I think she is very un helpful but here is the mail from the woman..

    Dear Mr Smith

Thank you for your further email. Please contact Highview to contest your fine. I am unable to help you with this.

I'm sorry that you're unhappy with my previous response.

    Have Highview cancelled yet?

I would wait until it's cancelled then respond to Tracey telling her as such and that they have now lost your custom. I see little point in engaging further with her as she is clearly not going to cancel it herself.
