Listen to those who know on here ...... simples
It’s been a pretty bad day across the forum for advice being ignored! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It’s not a fine, and if you follow guidance you’ll be paying the lowest amount possible - £0.00.
Nobody has ‘mates’ on a forum of anonymous users. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

just received this this morning ( i persume tesco management ?) is this another ignore ( not to reply to ?) Dear Mr Smith
Thanks for contacting us regaridng your parking charge.
I've spoken with an agent at Highview this morning and they've confirmed they requested proof of customer and driver details. Upon recieving these details, they'll investigate further and advise you of the outcome.
Kind regards,

Oh dear. Write a very strong letter stating that they have no entitlement in law to supply these details. Inform him of the new Act of Parliamemnt to curb them scammer, complain to your MP.
On 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these private parking companies. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, and persistent offenders denied access. Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers.
Until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
I am confused. You mention Highview and Horizon in your initial post. They are separate companies. Please confirm the name of the company you are actually dealing with.
Please also confirm that you sent the initial blue appeal template from the NEWBIES.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -

The lady is telling lies .... you are not obliged to name the driver ??
Tesco supports scammers, simple as that.
Go back to Tesco providing proof of your custom to Dave Lewis and again ask for this to be cancelled.
Bottom line if Lewis plays hardball, stop shopping at Tesco and tell your friends that Tesco employ scammers in their car park.0 -

Dear Tracey,
You are obviously clueless with regards to unregulated private parking scams otherwise you would not have suggested that I provide private and personal data that would entail me throwing away the protection offered to me by law.
I asked for this unfair parking charge to be cancelled, not to be fobbed off.
By Tesco's actions in employing unregulated cowboys (UK MP's own words in open parliament) to scam genuine customers and your comments in particular, it is obvious that neither Tescos nor you wish to retain me as a customer.
I will give you one last chance. Please either cancel this unfair parking charge or lose me as a customer.
I suggest you and the rest of your colleagues in Customer Services research the unregulated parking scam that has caused MPs to introduce a new private parking bill into law.
These are some of the comments MPs made in parliament during its debate.
''Rip-offs from car park Cowboys must stop''; unfair treatment; signage deliberately confusing to ensure a PCN is issued; ''years of abuse by rogue parking companies''; bloodsuckers; ''the current system of regulation is hopeless, like putting Dracula in charge of the blood-bank''; extortionate fines; rogue operators; ''sense of injustice''; unfair charges and notices; wilfully misleading; signage is a deliberate act to deceive or mislead; ''confusing signs are often deliberate, to trap innocent drivers''; unreasonable; a curse; harassing; operating in a disgusting way; appeals service is no guarantee of a fair hearing; loathed; outrageous scam; dodgy practice; outrageous abuse; unscrupulous practices; ''the British Parking Association is as much use as a multi-storey car park in the Gobi desert''; and finally, by way of unanimous conclusion: ''we need to crack down on these rogue companies. They are an absolute disgrace to this country. Ordinary motorists and ordinary residents should not have to put up with this''.
Yours

As I said earlier ignore this letter they are fishing for the drivers details. They will cancel in a few days.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It may help get frustrations out but object of exercise is to get Tesco to help cancel charge and escape paying.0
