Then once you have confirmation of non-compliance, you write to the DVLA.
With the letter to the DVLA would this be just to inform them what the BP have stated or would other details need to be included in that letter - sorry if this is a stupid question but I not sure what should be put in that letter

at this point in time you just need the info as to who/when asked for your info , as it would look like the probable failed to on at least one ticket (the duplicated one) and the timings for the rest are so "consise"

ie they ask for your details on day 29 , and yet can get a reply from the DVLA and have a letter printed and posted the same day , so that you get it on day 30

for example , ticket one , date issued to car 20/12/16 what is the date on the NTK letter ?
I did the format you suggested and the 1st letter thru post is the 1st and only NTK sent to the RK

T1) date issued to car 20/12/16 (10:40:00 - 12:35:41) date of first letter thru post (NTK) 24/01/2018
T2) date issued to car 20/12/16 (10:40:18 - 12:37:41) date of first letter thru post (NTK) 24/01/2018
T3) date issued to car 13/01/2018 date of first letter thru post (NTK) 14/02/2018
T4) date issued to car 12/11/2018 date of first letter thru post (NTK) 12/12/2018
T5) date issued to car 15/11/2018 date of first letter thru post (NTK) 20/12/2018

One hell of a story ?

What pressure are you putting on the CEO of John Lewis as this directly compounds on their customers ?

I think the dates need amending as well , typed correctly , and years corrected , as in most cases it looks like britannia have been treating this car park as ANPR controlled , this will not go down well with the DVLA and BPA , especially if dated tickets and dated follow up letters (NTK) are produced

all sorted and corrected now as in other posts

    thank you

a letter will be sent by the RK to the CEO of JL outlining that their own legal dept have never replied to their first and only letter. the CEO will also be given all the FACTS - (signs non compliant with BPA code of pratice , BP refused to answer the RK's letters from 2014 etc )

The RK also intends to state that unless she / he instructs britannia to cancel all this action immediately then the local press will be contacted and the local MP is going to be contacted.

Something along those lines should hopefully put the CEO under a bit of pressure to cancel the proposed legal action.

Frankly, I am surprised that a plc with the integrity of the John Lewis Partnership should consort with these scammers. I suggest that you acquaint the CEO with Sir Greg's Bill.

Right now John Lewis are struggling. The CEO is actually under the name of Managing Director being Ms Paula Nickolds

Personally when I write letters of this nature I do not threaten but make it clear what my options are (without actually saying), they know what you mean.
Make it clear that by employing Britannia, they are holding their customers in contempt and on that basis, word and mouth spreads

Suggest that she must intervene immediately to cancel all the tickets before the matter gets worse for JL.
Also suggest that to save future problems, that will lose customers, she terminates Britannia from all Waitrose car parks

In the meantime continue with the good advice above

So you’ve now changed the T5 dates? It’s becoming impossible to keep track. We’re all tired - and we’re dealing with dozens of threads, trying to keep many different plates spinning at the same time, but accuracy in detail, especially where something critical relies on it, is essential.
a letter will be sent by the RK to the CEO of JL outlining that their own legal dept have never replied to their first and only letter. the CEO will also be given all the FACTS - (signs non compliant with BPA code of pratice , BP refused to answer the RK's letters from 2014 etc )
You need to forget all this stuff about not getting a reply to a very odd letter from 5 years ago. JL’s CEO will not be interested at their level in the minutiae of whether a sign did or did not meet some Code of Practice they have probably never heard of. You’re chasing shadows.

The CEO should be more concerned about their agent upsetting a customer whose custom may never return, although I have to say (and I know the relationship between JL and W) there would be more likely impact if it was a direct JL customer.

I would have thought there’s more than enough clout vested in the principal CEO of Waitrose, and a more direct relationship with the customer(s) in the 5 cases, and you’re more likely to get a more interested response.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

This is going waaaay off track. 110 posts must be a new record for this simple stage.

You will get a claim so this is all smoke and mirrors right now.

All the dates you've now shown, are about a month (just over 29 days) after the PCN on the windscreens so the dates are all OK (not early, not late) as I expected. Britannia never used to get that wrong, unless I've overlooked a late one?

The 2016 ones won't have the paragraph 8 keeper liability warning, as Britannia never did then. But by 2018 I think they did.
the RK intends to confirm with BW that they have written to the BPA and have sent a SAR to Brittania and request that this is put on hold until replies are sent

    Is this acceptable ?
Add that the RK is 'seeking debt advice' (just those vague words) which FORCES BW Legal to put the case on hold for 30 days - conveniently, allowing the SAR to arrive.

By all means keep complaining to John Lewis/Waitrose.

But expect to get a claim to defend and stop being distracted by dates on the NTKs and showing us Final Demands (which are not NTKs, so cannot be checked for POFA wording as it's not the right letter to look at).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hi DP Dance
Please forgive my total ignorance but what is Sir Greg's bill and I am very happy to include that in the RK letter to JL CEO .

    No longer just a Bill
