Hi Aylesbury,
I have stopped using it from the last incident (2014). But I am hearing from my friends that they are keep on creating their own unwritten rules and regulations and creating chaos at check-in. I am trying to get this to their management.
Atleast they should let everyone know what their terms in their ticket.
Even 5 Billion miles would not equate to the awful service.0 -
I tweeted them them to refer to the terms and conditions mentioned about the return ticket and I am not getting any reply so far from their side. They try to ignore the issue.0

You haven't used that airline for 4-5 years so why get involved in how they operate?
Surely if your friends have a problem, they can take it up with the airline management themselves.0 -
Not sure why OP has titled this thread "Middle East Airlines" when it seems to refer to Etihad and not MEA!0

Why are you making such a song-and-dance about it? No one is forcing your friends to fly with Etihad.0 -
Your friends should pursue any problems they have with Etihad themselves as they are the customers. Etihad have no obligation to communicate with you.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

I'm beginning to suspect you're not telling the full story here...
Are you the customer in question, having gone back to an airline you stopped flying with, been caught out by new travel rules and trying to save face by claiming you're acting on behalf of "friends"?0 -
First of all the carrier could refuse to board you, if you are refused entry into UK the airline is responsible for the costs of removing you from the UK and, in extreme cases, the cost of detention until you are removed. They are also liable to a fine of about £2,000.
The airline does not want to run the risk and is making it a requirement to travel.
What I don't understand is why anybody would fly without a return ticket anyway unless.......0 -
Are we not supposed to ask questions against the misleading policies of these companies? Actually I have booked a ticket from my card for them.0
