I looked online and can't find any RM price increases for 1st April.
Yet on eBay, when I choose 2nd class 100g large letter it is £1.32.
RM website has it as 83p.
As from today, Hermes are making changes to pricing and weight bands. I use Hermes on eBay.
Quoted Hermes email below:
From 00.00 am Monday 1st April 2019, the following prices and weight bands will be put in place:

Are you sure that price is for 2nd class on ebay? As of a couple of months ago it was £1.01 to send a 100g large letter 1st Class so that would seem to be a huge increase. I'd double check that.0

RM prices went up last Monday and we had a few threads about it on here including this
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5980400/reminder-rm-price-increase
They didn't go up a great deal though, and in fact as at yesterday eBay shutl parcels 2nd class were coming up at £2.90 compared to the Rm price of £3. Are you using like for like when checking as the price limit for large letters goes up at 100g , so you might be looking at one price below 100 and one above.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. From what I saw on the Hermes website earlier, the "postable" option does not have any compensation cover.0

I agree, I did a dummy quote and the postable does not carry any insurance.
Insurance kicks in on the normal parcels etc up to £20I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Im needing to post an item that would qualify for 'portable'. Right enough, no cover, so thanks for pointing it out! Think I'd rater pay £0.60 and have an extra piece of mind and just save myself some time by using import. So typical though, they introduce a new service, which in theory sounds great but in practice...0
