I really would give up on this guys. I got accepted in October, and have still not got a start date. This seems to be the case for everyone in the Facebook group also.

I now think it was a big marketing exercise, that has not gained them many fans! x

I understand that they may not be happy for wages to be discussed here but could someone give me an idea of whether or not a normal 40 hour a week job could be replaced with something like this?
I.E Would it be possible for me to earn enough through something like this to be able to quit my normal job?

A while a go it would have been possible but nowadays would count it as extra income - really no guarantee of what you can earn month by month!

I guess it also depends how much you earn now and how much you need to get by, as someone pointed out it is not guaranted income.

Annual income now is around 14K, I go overdrawn every month now so can't afford for that income to reduce. :(

It really does depend on how many hours you get. There is a big scramble to get the hours when the rota opens and depending on your willingness to work the hours that no-one else wants (1am on a Sat etc). Last month I averaged around £6.40 an hour, but I only managed to get around 6 - 7 hours a week. So I would say good extra income but wouldn't want to rely on it as the rota grab makes the hours unpredictable.

Thanks so much P. I won't take the risk then as I can't afford to have less money coming in than I have at the moment. And there is no way I can work those kinds of shifts considering I tend to be in bed by 10pm!!! lol

Anyone heard from Texperts yet after passing the test?
  • I have contacted them twice recently, they did not reply to my emails.

I passed the test in February and have heard nothing after an initial email re the training which they said would be in a few weeks.

Think I'll give up on this one, I'm mad as it took me ages to get accepted!

I agree, no point in waiting around for them now - the initial few weeks has turned into eleven months here!

I agree, took me ages too and my husband, both been waiting 11 months! I also emailed them a while back and had no reply. I texted them and asked about training and was told to email them.
