Take a "singles" holiday, maybe a Cruise, on your own. Tell him first, explain that you are not looking for anyone else, just need some time and space alone to think about what happens next in your marriage.

He may have a different attitude when you return. If nothing has changed, are you prepared to take alternative steps? My OH and I are 70+ and we give each other space, have different hobbies and interests, but we are still affectionate and I still love her with all my heart.
