Chinese Spam calls?

Oh dear I thought that the TPS was a bit more than that!!! I know companies can get fined if they call someone on TPS, but if you don't know who the company is it's not much good.

Alan - yup I'm on PlusNet, although it was Life mobile before that if that makes a difference. Sounds very suspicious though and seems to be common with people on PlusNet. I wonder what's going on!!!


Tadley - is your number the same with your new provider or did you get a new one?


The calls seem to have stopped for the time being (I was getting them daily before) but I guess they could start up again. Hopefully not!!! I think the most frustrating part is not knowing what they're saying. Makes me want to learn Chinese just so I can understand what they're saying and tell them to f*** off!!!

Can't set it as a spammer cos it's always a different number. Thought they might have left me alone but alas got another call today

Star, if your mobile doesn't have inbuilt call blocking, you could try installing Mr Mobile (which I think has some inbuilt numbers to refuse) or CPR call blocker. The latter allows you to block all calls from a country and I think they have a version for mobiles now. Good luck Humdinger1

I have had at least 5 of these calls since the beginning of the month! Very annoying, different number each time. I do a 'who called me' check each time and the number doesn't appear in any databases.
