This is all your friends fault. They should have checked all 3 credit agencies before applying like any other sensible person would have done.

Aah, so we should just exept false reporting as fact then. Bad practice as normal and not challenge wrong decisions?

Although the charge is nothing to do with them. A charge is just a debt secured against a property. Has nothing to do with anyone in this situation.
CHEFFINS apparently suggested the 6 months payment. So they were not neccesarily excluding her based on CCJ's. Just the flase report from RENTSHEILD. With no oppourtunity to amend ot correct it. Pure discrimination.

The landlord decided not to rent to your friend based on the information from the credit check. If the credit check is wrong all your friend has to do now is to correct the information so that any future landlord can see if there are any CCJs. Of course if there are then it might be difficult for your friend to find a landlord who will accept them.

and if a different credit report is produced (from Experian not callcredit) with documentory evidence to prove that RENTSHEILD one is bogus how would you react then?

Do you pay these company's to carry out the credit reference for you or do you demand the tenant pay it in advance to a company of your stipulation?

How many times do you need to be told RENTSHIELD do not supply credit reports, all the will do is the same as you and I. They will have an account log in with Call Credit and they will then in put your details and that will provide the information held by Call Credit.

If Call Credits information is incorrect then that is because the Lenders haven't updated them.

You need to forget about RENTSHIELD they have done nothing wrong and concentrate on getting the lenders to update all the Reference agencies with the correct information.

Credit rating agencies do not have "bogus" information. They simply report what they have been told.

If the information with the credit reference agency is wrong, it is up to your friend to get that corrected.

I don't really understand why you think the callcredit was "bogus" to start with.

The OP obviously is siding with friend blindly without looking at things from a more independent non biased view.

Your friend is right and everyone is wrong approach doesn't wash here. Your going round in circles

Although this brings up other questions like why should she have to do that at all. It should be down to these companies to get it right first time and not rely on on the subject to do their work for them.
Plus now even if she did it she has lost the house! Possibly lost her house sale! All due to false reporting.

Which is why in the day and age of free credit checks (clearscore etc) everyone should be regularly checking their reports to stop this happening (and for many other reasons such as identity fraud etc)

you can tell me the same thing as many times as you choose. It still will not make it a factually truth.
RENTSHEILD provided a false report to CHEFFINS...fact! What don't you understand?
It is RENTSHEILDS resposability to get it right...first time! What don't you understand there?
It does not matter WHERE they get their information, THEY are passing it on as THEIR report. What don't you understand?
If callcredit is wrong the RENTSHEILD should stop using it and produce false reports with RENTSHEILD letter heading all over it therefore making it THEIR report. What don't you understand?

    Completely wrong assumption.
    I have stated the facts.
    unlike RENTSHEILD.
You seem to be biased towards fiction being seen as truth unless you can prove otherwise. This kind of attitude is why we have corruption in this industry with Estate Agents taking "arrangement" fees for doing nothing other than spending £10 on a credit report and doing nothing about rectifying it when it is bought to their attention that it is wrong.
You seem to be of the assumption that Estate Agents and credit reference agencys work ethically and everyone else is a scumbag who should be walked over.

You will find that won't wash here!
