Unable to make a complaint, as the Solicitor who made the Trust said he was representing my Mother, not me.

    Thank you for replying.

Local Authority has nothing to do with it, the house was purchased nearly 20 yrs ago.

Up to 3 members of a family can purchase your discounted property with you.

The Pope could have paid for it????

A Declaration of Trust is exactly that, to prove who owns the house, who is or is not allowed to sell it.

    Update:

The Solicitor who made the Declaration of Trust, is not responding to my Solicitor.

I think that is for your solicitor to chase up, they will know the possible routes to get an answer

No the Solicitor said to contact the new owner, but that doesn’t seem to make sense.

Most people on here were just seemed more concerned about who cannot own it, and that I didn’t so obviously do not understand what a Declaration of Trust actually means.

    Thank you

That is not correct, do you have any proof of that please?

Up to 3 family members can purchase a social housing property with the tenant.

To qualify they also have to have been living at the property for at least 12 months. Were you living with her at the time?

No, no one else was living at the property, but anyone can provide the funds.

That is not in dispute at all.

Providing the funds doesn't automatically mean you bought it.
