Sorry, yes Y is economy and FF is frequent flyer or more commonly relevant to your airmiles/avios/points etc that you get when you fly (or not as the case with TC).

I would ask TC to refund what they would charge for premium entertainment per person per flight. On my last flight I think it was £6 each so £48.
I would be happy with say a £50 gift card to be used against future purchase.

Vietnam Air used to provide iPads on their BC flights before their back of seat stuff was up and running, iirc.

Dunno why all airlines don't carry a few iPads in case there is a b/d in their inflight entertainment.
It's your money. Except if it's the governments.

I read it that the OP was given a £5 gift card pp.
  • Happened to me recently on super long flight to Japan. I complained at the time but airline refused to move me to a seat with working entertainment (as the only spare were extra leg room ones).
It was really annoying I admit - however didn't think to complain afterwards as felt I was paying for the flight rather than entertainment. I think anything you get is a bonus, but if you're not happy with what you've been offered maybe speak to them and see if they will increase offer when they hear your side?

We each (4 passengers, (2 adults, 2 children)) we give a £5/$5 gift card. We were told on both flights that the in flight entertainment was not working (flights were 3 weeks apart). I have always had in flight entertainment on long haul flights. Felt that any faults with on flight system would be fixed within 3 weeks!

Who did you give them to?

    Did you see post #4?
You are actually entitled to nothing so the voucher you've already had is above and beyond their liability.
I'd forget it and move on.
The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....

I took a BA flight from HKG to LHR a few years ago and only a small section of the flight had any IFE. They did try rebooting the system a couple of times but to no avail. Those of us with blank screens were given a form to complete and I was given Avios for my inconvenience. I don’t recall how many.
