Misleading pricing in supermarket

Should really be on the Praise, Vent and Warnings thread.
Your consumer rights are simple; pay what they ask you to pay or put the items back. Then report to ASA (who won't do anything for YOU mind you) and, but not in this case because the amounts are too low to be considered in court, consider taking them to small claims court for "loss of bargain" (after submitting a letter before action).
You can also seek a goodwill gesture from their head office, which is something I'd probably encourage you to do here. A £2 voucher should suffice
(I am being serious with this suggestion by the way) 0 -

No, Les79, I chose to create a new thread because my real aim is to provoke discussion that leads to more transparent labelling in supermarkets.
Thank you for the information about making a complaint. but I think you may have missed that I have nothing to complain about! The supervisor ultimately gave me the two different packs for £1 (after I threatened to report the matter to the TSA; here in Wales I think that's still possible).
My concern in this thread is for those who don't stand up for themselves, or don't notice, or don't understand. And my hope is that somebody like Martin Lewis will pick this up and run with it. I put it to you that the supermarkets are being less than transparent in order to make their prices appear cheaper than they actually are.0 -
No, in-store labelling issues aren't in the ASA's remit. Trading Standards are who you should complain to
Thanks for that, I didn't know this was the case...0 -

Thanks for that, I didn't know this was the case...although I have had issues with TS in my part of the UK....perhaps it is regional?
Edit - yes I see it is.0
