  • The trouble is my CV is not the best and im worried they might look down at a 26 year old who has never had a job and needs to leave for university but i suppose if they do that or all companies its age discrimination

Pubs and restaurants need kitchen cleaning staff as well as front of house. A relative got a job in a pub helping in the kitchen and serving food because they weren't old enough to serve alcohol. In a small village with only one pub and nothing else. Fairly sure Oswestry will have similar jobs.

Don't tell them you're planning to leave for university. What course are you doing?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I too have looked at the Indeed site and there are plenty of jobs there, part time, most not requiring experience ( preferred yes, but not required)

Dyspraxia should not be a reason to not be able to tear of a till receipt, seriously it isn't. You may tear it differently, as not as elegantly as someone else, but all it is is a piece of paper. How you grip and rip is down to you

Theres even a night job going at travel lodge for two nights a week, from the sounds of it just greeting guests and setting up for breakfast and cleaning up at night

No job is below you, you haven't had a job before, everyone has to start somewhere
  • The job at the travel lodge would be fine but im at college during the weekdays so that is the only problem with that

Also does not mention on the website you need to be there a year to work there. Would you be ok going from stacking shelves to jumping on the till and then off the till back to the floor

How desperate are you for a job? Stop putting obstacles in the way of everything.

How are you going to explain to potential employers your age and why you have never worked before?
