I’m a staunch remainder, but I respect the will of the (slight) majority who voted to leave.
I just wish they had been informed of the full facts of an exit before they voted.

Nothing to do with size of population.

Simply repeating the same fake news does not suddenly make it true; the size of the UK's population means we have around 13% of voting influence.

"Major influence" is not the same as "complete control" hence exposing the lie that the UK's influence is "null and void."

Statistically speaking the only thing the electorate can be is of average intelligence.

And thereby lies the problem. Do we really want the most important political & economic decisions in our lifetime made by resorting to the average?

By definition, no more than 50% can be below average.

Not true. For instance, if your sample size was only 10 people & 9 of them had an IQ of 100 & the other had an IQ of 110.

The average IQ would be 101 so 90% would be below average.

I was speaking in relation to the UK voting population.

Admittedly, the larger the sample size, the closer you may come to a true average.

However, have a look around & count how many noisy knuckle draggers there are compared to how many potential Steven Hawkins....

I think that we sometime live in a bubble when we post on forums such as this. Because we are here for a reason & we have an interest in the subjects raised here, we may begin to imagine that the rest of the country is similar to us.

Unfortunately as we are plagued with politicians, you are probably correct.

To be a true statesman, a leader must possess 4 critical qualities:

    A bedrock of principles.
    A moral compass.
    A vision.
The ability to build a consensus to achieve that vision.

I'm all for consensus, but to be fair, with whom would she have built consensus?

The Lib/Dems? - Reman and nothing but Remain
Labour? - Do it our way (whatever that is) and meet these impossible demands
The SNP? - Permanently on Whinge World, whatever is proposed
